Asharfi Bhawan is located near Sub-Post office of Ramkot near Asharfi crossing at a distance of 2.5 km from railway station and comes under Shri Madhusudan Dharm Setu Trust (Phone- +91-5278-232062).
The building is called Asharfi Bhawan as some asharfies (gold coins) were found here during the digging process taken up for the construction of this temple. Presently the temple enshrines the idols of Laxmi Narayan. Chaitra Ramnavami, Shravan Jhula, Parikramas in Kartik month & one month foundation festival (Godamba Utsav) from 16th Dec-14th Jan. are celebrated here. The trust, running this temple, also provides free education to deserving candidates. A huge dharmshala, providing accommodation to devotees is also located in the premises.
